How the Process Works

(using the Ecovim 250)*

1) Food waste goes into the top.  Close and lock hatch then press START.

☼ Food waste such as kitchen prep scraps, dining waste, coffee grounds, etc.

☼ Also dispose up to 15% of paper and uncoated cardboard.

2) Agitators break up materials into small particles.

☼ Material is heated to 180°F, decomposes and sterilizes.

☼ Sterilizes seeds and kills bacteria

3) DRY, biomass exits the front door (filtered water is captured in a rear container OR directly into drain)
